Personal Impact

How adept are you at understanding your personal impact i.e. the impact you have on others? In working environments people are constantly interacting with the people around them. If you work in a client or customer facing role then your personal impact is your primary communication tool and critical to your success. You may be very competent and  have great ideas, but if you can't communicate and come across effectively you will fail to make the personal impact you want. Perhaps you have never had to interact with other people before but suddenly you are required to manage a team or influence your peers. Ask yourself:

• How aware are you of your own personal impact?
• How good are you at controlling your emotions?
• How would people describe your style and temperament?
• Is your first response to react to a situation or think about it?
• Are you known for your ability to see both sides of a debate?
• What does your voice and body language communicate to other people about the way you are feeling?

We are constantly communicating free clues about our thoughts and feelings through our body language, posture, voice, breathing etc. Do you know what signs you are sending out and how this affects your personal impact? Can you read the communication signs from other people?

Personal Impact Private Coaching 

If you prefer to learn on your own (or with a friend) then you should choose a full day of Personal Impact coaching. This means the focus will be on you and the day can be tailor made to meet your particular needs. Spend as long as you like on a particular subject, ask as many questions as you want. This is still an interactive and highly experiential session.

Explore what impact you currently have and how this affects the people around you. I'll share tools and techniques with you to maximise your impact and unlock your potential. Develop your skills and stretch your boundaries in a fun and supportive environment.

The Personal Impact Programme will give you genuine insight into your impact and that of others. Here is an overview of the content for this comprehensive one day coaching programme:

• How do others see you?
• Understand how you impact others.
• What works and what doesn’t work.
• Managing your emotions.
• Explore status and physicality and how to use it.
• Verbal communication – your voice and phraseology. Different ways to say what you mean.
• Non verbal communication- your posture and body language, what are you really saying?
• Visual communication - what is your image saying?
• Different perspectives: Learn how to understand, appreciate and respect other's opinions.
• Develop your influencing skills through language and impact.

Coaching Buddy

It can be fun to learn with someone else, you can share thoughts and insights and there is a considerable cost saving. You still get lots of one on one attention but the experience can be richer. If you would like to save money and share your learning experience with a 'coaching buddy' then tell me when you call. Then with your permission when someone else calls who wants to also be a 'coaching buddy' I'll put you both in contact with each other. You can decide from a range of dates what works for you both. After your Personal Impact coaching session you can use each other to track progress and share success.
